Boba defined

i put up that boba poll and had many questions as to what it is. "Boba" are marble sized tapioca balls that sit in the bottom of your drink. they are kinda reminiscent of unflavored gummy bears. they are offered at asian restaurants or specific boba/tapioca drink places. we do have a couple locally. they have these cool machines that seal your drink with this plastic lid. then you pierce it with the giant straw, resulting in a satisfying "pop."

you can have boba added to any of the drinks they offer. a milk tea is exactly what it sounds like: milk and tea. a snow bubble is in essence a smoothie, but i dont think there is really any fruit. and the texture is much lighter, airier. noah's favorite is mango. my favorite is taro. it's purple. but taro root is not really purple.

anyway, maybe we should take a boba field trip for any of those interested. comment me and i'll organize something. lets get some culture up in here!
